Measure at the right stage
Final dimensions should be taken when the surrounding site condition is ready enough for reliable fabrication. Measuring too early can create avoidable fillers, gaps or installation problems.
Plan what goes inside
Wardrobe hanging space, drawer heights, shoe storage, kitchen equipment and frequently used items should shape the internal layout. Exterior appearance is only half the design.
Coordinate services and clearances
Switches, sockets, plumbing access, ventilation, appliances and access panels need to be coordinated with built-ins before drawings are approved.
Confirm hardware and details
Hinges, runners, handles, lift-up systems, edge details and material direction influence cost, use and durability. These items should be recorded before fabrication begins.
Use the note as a starting point.
Send the floor plan, site photos and rough scope for an initial project review.
