Draw what will be hidden
Air-conditioning pipes and drains, electrical routes, sockets, isolators, data points and access panels can disappear behind ceilings or built-ins. Their intended locations should be coordinated on drawings before fabrication and closing-up.
Check equipment and maintenance clearances
Fan-coil units, condensate drains, distribution boards, drivers, routers and appliances need room for servicing and replacement. A flush panel is useful only when the person maintaining the equipment can actually remove it.
Match power and ventilation to the real appliance
Model numbers, loads, plug types, isolators, heat output and ventilation requirements can affect the cabinet and service plan. Generic placeholders should be replaced with confirmed information before production.
Hold a coordination check before release
Compare the carpentry, reflected-ceiling, air-conditioning and electrical information together. A short review at the right time can prevent cut-outs, surface trunking or inaccessible equipment later.
